We are always looking for practicioners who are self starters and are looking to improve their patients' lives! We are a dynamic and busy clinic located on St. Clair West in uptown Toronto looking for  certified naturopathic doctors, acupuncturists, nutritionists, nurse practitioners and more!

We are currently looking for physiotherapists, osteopaths, doulas/midwives, medical doctors, chiropractors and other types of health practitioners to refer to in the following areas: Midtown Toronto (St. Clair Area), Downtown Toronto, North York, Mississauga and Brampton. Current positions:

Position: Naturopathic Community manager and researcher.
Who can apply: Preference given to CCNM naturopathic students or IHN graduates. This is a Canada Summer Jobs affiliated program and all candidates must be under 30 years old.
Location: Partially Remote. Travel to our clinic in uptown Toronto and our clinic in Southern Mississauga required based on need.

Start Date: June 21 2021
Hours per week: approximately 20- 30 hours as scheduled
Full time or Part Time: Part Time
Duration of Employment: 9- 12 weeks 

Requirements: 
• Applicant must have completed post secondary education and ideally be currently enrolled at CCNM
• Passion for research and strong critical evaluation skills. 
• Eager to learn with a strong work ethic
• Experience with Canva, Instagram, Facebook, Active Campaign,Planoly and other social media sites or video editing software and tools required. Can train the right candidate but familiarity preferred.
• Own laptop to work from
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills required
​• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and a positive attitude are a must
• Must be a committed team player and able to take direction well
• Knowledge of the natural health world and naturopathic doctors required
• Student with an interest in skincare, fertility and hormonal health prefered
• Commitment to seeing the job through to the end of the 9-12 week period
• Must have an understanding of CONO and what can and cannot be legally claimed by naturopathic healthcare practitioners in Ontario.- Can be trained. 

Responsibilities:
• various administration duties
• creating basic posts and clearing content with the manager prior to uploading onto platforms
• Taking videos, photos and using them to create visual media
• assist with e-commerce if required
• engage with online community in a polite and personable manner
• Research specific topics related to natural health
• Examine and translate scientific research related to naturopathic medicine
• Research and create content for clinic and naturopath’s use. 
• Create and design social media posts, handouts, and other resources 

Perks:
• Additional clinical preceptorship/mentorship hours a possible option based on performance
• Understanding of the daily workings of naturopathic practices 
• Possibility for extension of job contract, based on performance

Who we are:
Hillcrest Centre for Health on St. Clair West in Toronto is a 20-year-old practice with an herbal dispensary, IV clinic and established naturopathic practice. In 2017 we opened a second practice, Clarkson Family Naturopathic, in Clarkson Village, Mississauga. The clinics are managed by Dr. Alexandra Hurtado, ND and, while they have different branding, both have a focus on skin health, perinatal care, fertility and hormonal health.
