about
I am a naturopathic doctor passionate about helping my patients achieve wellness by addressing the root cause of their imbalance and blending modern, scientific knowledge with natural forms of medicine.
It is important to me that my patients feel heard and understood and this informs every aspect of their treatment. I have maintained a general family practice and have special interests in women’s health (from PMS to menopause), digestive disorders (from IBS, SIBO to Crohn's), skin disease, and mental/emotional health.
I use evidence-based therapies to help you start feeling your best, including: nutrition, counselling, supplements, acupuncture, herbal medicine, bio-identical hormone therapy, and intravenous medicine.
I have learned through my own health experience, and am continuing to learn through my patient's experiences, that we all have a deep desire to heal and that with commitment and the right support, we can achieve our goals, feel empowered and have lifelong wellness.
My goal and commitment as a Naturopathic Doctor is to support and empower my patients in finding their own unique path to healing.
When I’m not at the clinic, I teach preventative nutrition, and anatomy and physiology to holistic nutrition students at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in Toronto. I can also be found enjoying time with my husband, baby boy and dog, in a yoga class, discovering new trail runs, or relaxing with a book on the beach.
I completed four years of Naturopathic Medical school at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in Vancouver, BC, in the 2014 graduating class. I have completed clinical internships at the Boucher Naturopathic Clinic, the Family Naturopathic Clinic and Positive Living BC. Prior to this I obtained my Bachelor of Science with Honours with a Specialist in Neuroscience from the University of Toronto.
I have extensive training in Intravenous Therapy, Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (including thyroid) as well as Craniosacral therapy. I have worked at the Institute of Hormonal Health since September 2017, working alongside Dr. Kristy Prouse OBGYN at the leading integrative medical clinic in Canada specializing in the treatment of hormonal health issues.
I am in good standing with the regulatory body of Naturopathic Doctors, the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).
